Acne: Fact and Fiction

Old wives’ tales about its causes continue to endure, despite systematic condition to the contrary. Myth: Folk who have acne are soiled and maintain poor cleanliness. There’s no truth to this statement.

Acne is due to a hormonal disequilibrium in the body. So cleanliness has nothing to do with it. Actually pointless washing of the skin can exacerbate the issue. Myth: Eating the wrong food will lead to acne. The truth is that there’s no co-relation between what you eat and acne. The chocolates, the potato fries, the cheese pizza, and all those alternative greasy foods that have been lambasted ever so frequently due to their unhealthy effect have no affect at all on your skin. So while you do not have to be worried to whether your favorite treat is affecting your skin (at least without delay), do remember that it does have an effect on your overall fitness.

The reality is the stress that many of us experience as an element of our daily existence doesn’t lead to acne. Occasionally, acne can arise as the side-effect of gear brought to treat severe stress. Myth: Acne is a just a cosmetic illness. Well, acne affects the way you look and yes, it is regarded as a threat to your physical well being. The fact still is that in a number of cases acne can end up in permanent scarring which is more than only cosmetic. It is understood to affect their perception of themselves, their self confidence and confidence and their interactions with others. It may cause feelings of frustration, depression and social humiliation.

With the sort of products that are available in the market today, there isn’t any reason why anybody should have to suffer the agony due to acne. The reality is that acne can be cleared up with the right medicine and a regime categorical to their wants.
